As CEO of Nexeon, Scott has been instrumental in scaling the company from its early stages to a globally recognised developer of silicon-based anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Under his leadership, Nexeon has secured key strategic partnerships and raised circa $400m in funding, positioning the company as a leader in battery innovation. His strategic shift from a licensing model to material production and supply has helped Nexeon forge collaborations with major global partners. Scott’s leadership extends beyond Nexeon, with significant experience in senior executive roles in companies such as Cambridge Display Technology Ltd and Sumation Co Ltd, where he successfully led international joint ventures, licensing agreements, and market expansions.
